Install as a single-sided unit, or remove the included backer panel and convert to a see-through design that opens the view between rooms. The discrete heater completes the functionality and ensures perfect comfort in addition to the dazzling Opti-myst flame and smoke effect.

Product Detail Description

This advanced firebox uses Dimplex’s patented and award winning Opti-myst flame effect. Utilizing ultrasonic technology, this fireplace transforms ordinary water into a vapor which when combined with the LED lighting, creates the stunning illusion of smoke and dancing flames. The overall effect is truly remarkable and life-like, so much so, that more often than not, people will assume it is a real burning fire. The media tray allows you to fill it with whatever items you prefer - sticks, stones, glass, the choices are almost endless (Not included). This fireplace is designed for built-in installations using hard-wired connectivity. So you may need the assistance of a skilled electrician when installing. Unique to this firebox is the removable back panel which instantly transforms the firebox from a 1-sided to 2-sided installation. This see-through option is a wonderful way to give more than one room the added appeal and allure of a spectacular fireplace. *Note: The Rear Glass Panel accessory (GBF1000-GLASS) must be purchased for see-thru installations.

Adding to the allure of this firebox, the Opti-myst Pro 1000 also features an integrated sound system that adds the gentle crackling sound of a real burning fire to its stunning visual. This adds yet another level of believably to the unit. A powerful, fan-forced heater is also a part of this fireplace and is capable of producing 4,981 BTUs to heat areas up to 400 Sq. Ft. in size. This added heat is a great way to take the chill out of your space when the colder temperatures of winter settle in. For your convenience a remote control is included and operates the flames, heater and sound with the simple press of a button.
